Our Wedding

Christian and Kayla’s story began all the way back at John Winthrop Middle school as two shy kids barely able to hold a conversation together. They remained cordial throughout high school but it wasn't until their senior year when Christian saw Kayla riding by on the bus and instantly had to message her. This turned into them texting each other every day, walking each other to class, and trying to spend as much time together until Kayla basically told Christian to ask her out already. A story Christian always remembers is their Senior banquet, where Kayla insisted on signing them up for a different bus than the one, he originally wanted. And if you hadn't guessed it, this bus ended up missing their trip, as the two of them sadly watched the boat full of their friends sail off in the distance. However, the two of them made the most of it and got to know each other very well, seeing as they were stuck on a bus in New York traffic. Soon after, Christian and Kaylas relationship was put to the test as they went off to separate colleges. Everyone always says long distance is hard but for these two, it really cemented their relationship and showed them they could make it through any obstacle in their path. Christian knew from the very beginning he was going to marry Kayla, it just took him nearly 10 years to do it. Christian spent months planning a surprise, which if you know Christian, is not easy. He was able to pull it off surrounded by family and friends as Kayla cried and screamed I thought you never would!. Kayla and Christian now enjoy their time traveling, doing home projects, going to brewery festivals, and spending time with their pets Mimosa, Levi and Brody.   10 years later, we can't wait to celebrate with you all in September!!
