We met our freshman year of high school. We had some interaction with each other but it wasn't until the beginning of our Junior year when we became friends

We had a couple of classes together but it was chemistry class where we became really close. We were lab partners. We both had a huge crush on each other but it took us a while until we admitted it.

The day we started dating! We went on so many fun dates that summer. Some of our favorites were going to the movies, MN Zoo, dinners at Mama Marias, and raiding the candy section at Walgreens.

The day we graduated from Hastings High School! It was also Kayla's 18th Birthday!

Nathan started his freshman year at Mankato State University! Kayla started her Dental Assistant program at DCTC. This year was hard since we only saw each other once or twice a month. But we made it work with Nathan coming home on weekends when he could or Kayla making a trip down to Mankato to see him!

Kayla got a job at a health center in Mankato. Then we got our first apartment together so Nathan could continue his degree in Mankato. Nathan also worked as a night Security Officer on the weekends. We lived there for four years and made so many memories and friends while living there.

Celebrated our 21st Birthday's together! And boy did we have a lot of fun this summer maybe a little too much fun?!

The day we adopted our sweet boy Oliver! We didn't plan on adopting another pet since we had two cat's. But when Kayla started crying in the middle of a pet smart after reading Ollie's story, Nathan felt we had no choice!

We moved to Burnsville MN to be closer to our family and friends. We lived in our apartment there for about a year.

We moved into a townhome in Apple Valley with our two cats. Maggie and Oliver.

The day we got engaged!! Nathan proposed by pretending his truck was breaking down and getting down on one knee in a ditch! He definitely didn't want me to predict he was about to propose! A day we will always remember

We took a trip to Las Vegas and celebrated our engagement

The day we will get to say "I do"!!! It's crazy to think that it will be ten years since we started dating by our wedding day!! We can't wait and are so excited to celebrate with all of you!!
