Rosita’s Al Pastor: Our go to taco truck off of Riverside Dr, in business since 1985 serving tacos morning to late night, breakfast lunch and dinner. You’ll notice an actual storefront and a food truck right outside. While both are Rosita’s, opt for the food truck for significantly better tacos.

Las Trancas: Omar’s favorite taco place in town, just off of Cesar Chavez Dr, Las Trancas was a staple he discovered during his first year in Austin and has been a loyalist in the 8 years since.

Veracruz: Our favorite breakfast tacos in town, get the Migas, thank us later.

Asador: Delicious tacos on the patio of one of our favorite bars, Las Perlas. Snag a brisket taco to go with your margarita!

Brew and Brew: Bar and cafe pairing coffee & craft brews with sandwiches & light bites in stylish industrial digs. Omar’s favorite “work from home” haunt when he lived on East 6th Street

Desnudo Coffee: Casual coffee trailer roasting its own beans, and serving drinks including the popular brown sugar miso latte. Colombian founded and run! This is a great spot to go for a casual breakfast and enjoy the other food trucks and craft stalls that usually set up in the park.

Ani’s Day and Night: Our corner coffee shop in a beautiful old home named after the owner’s mother. Welcoming staff with a rotating cast of specialty drinks and one of Kayla’s favorite study spots and Omar’s favorite places to get some work done.

High Noon: Futuristic-’80s-style bar with a dash of Old West, situated in a converted home with a patio. Kayla and Omar’s first date spot!

Small Victory: An intimate classic cocktail bar located in the hotel district of downtown Austin. This is a must hit for Martini lovers

Laguna Gloria Museum: The former home of Clara Driscoll and site of a 1916 Italianate-style villa on the shores of Lake Austin in Austin, Texas. It was the original home of the Austin Museum of Art and still houses some of its collections.
