As many of you know, Tyler and I met through our mutual friends- Sarah and Tim. Sarah is one of my very best friends and Tim is one of Tyler's best friends.

The first time I met Tyler was at a White Elephant party at Sarah and Tim's house. To be honest, there were so many of Tim's friends there that day that Tyler just seemed like another one of the guys to me. That changed when Sarah and Tim got engaged. After their engagement party, everyone went back to their house to spend the night. Despite being their best friends, Tyler and I ended up in the living room on the couch instead of getting one of the guest rooms that night. After a day of partying, we were buzzing with excitement and not ready to go to sleep. Instead, we spent the entire night talking about topics ranging from our favorite foods to the meaning of life. This was the beginning of our close friendship.

Over the next months, Tyler and I found ourselves hanging out at Sarah and Tim's house a lot. After fun days of doing things like cooking fun meals and watching scary movies, we always ended up in deep conversation until 2 or 3 in the morning. During one of these conversations, I decided to tell Tyler that I saw him as more than just a close friend. The feeling was mutual, and the rest is history :)
