Once Upon a time in a far far away land…. *disc scratches*

WOAH WOAH WOAH…. as most of you know, our story did not start like a fairytale…

Kayla’s side of the story:

When I first met Justin, I, of course, thought he was a cutie. At the time, his bff was talking to my HS bff. It was the summer before my junior year, Katie and I had gone to the Clinton scrimmage game, and guess who was there? Yes, you guessed it. My Froggie!! He came to the game with Ryan (also a groomsman) and from what I heard-- from Justin, actually-- was that he told Ryan “she will be mine”. Justin didn’t start out on my good side, to be quite honest. However, later on, thanks to Ryan tweeting at both of us, we got connected. (Yes, it all started in the DMs; a modern love story). Justin was such a sweetheart from the very beginning. He had everything I wanted. However, we weren’t able to see each other for a good 5ish months (just know the cops were called 😂😅). But now, the rest is history!!

Justin has always been my home— my safe haven. Home is not a place, it’s a person, and I have been very lucky to have found mine in this crazy world. There is not a time that I have not been able to count on Justin. He has been there for me through all of my graduations and all my hardships. From coming to visit me in Charlotte and Columbia to only being able to see me between 6-8pm when I was in HS (because yes, I have very strict Mexican parents haha). It has been 10 amazing years of pure magic and I cannot wait to see where this life takes us. All I know is that it has always been Justin and it will ALWAYS be Justin.

Justin’s side of the story:

When I first met Kayla, I knew from the start that she was special woman. She was so outgoing, so kind, so smart, so beautiful and so many other things. Every moment I got to spend with her was amazing. I have gotten to grow with her over these last ten years and I've been able to watch as she accomplished her dreams of going to school and graduating with her masters. Now I get to realize one of my main dreams, and that's marrying my best friend and starting our family!!
