Okay so since we’ve mentioned that our wedding & reception are being held at a ranch we’d like to take this opportunity to go over some guidelines. This ranch is an actual ranch … which means there is livestock there. Please respect the following guidelines when it comes to the livestock.
1. The horses and donkeys are VERY friendly but they occasionally bite … just ask Mike lol … they don’t do it to be mean they just REALLY like treats & fingers can look a lot like carrots.
2. Because of #1 please do not approach livestock without the bride or Matron of Honor Kendra. These are our animals and they are family to us, we don’t want them or you accidentally getting hurt. If you’d like to pet them or give them treats, just ask us.
3. Don’t open or go through any gate that is closed … we promise it’s closed for a reason.
4. Please keep all trash in the bins, blowing trash can be eaten by livestock & quickly kill them. Blowing trash can also spook them through a fence. If you think your dog or cats vet bill is expensive ours usually come with a couple extra 0s lol.
5. This one makes the insurance companies happy lol … Due to the inherit risks associated with an equestrian facility it is the responsibility of parents to watch their kids and adults to act like adults. We are in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM responsible for any out comes as a result of your choices.
