Our story began in Wisconsin back in 2015, yes you heard that right, 8 years ago! Matt was a senior at Concordia pursuing a sports management degree while playing Lacrosse and Kayla was tackling her Sophomore year at Concordia pursuing a nursing degree while playing Soccer. We were introduced by our friends who were dating at the time, both of us not looking for a relationship but the Universe had another idea.

Fast forward 7 years, there have been many dates, sporting events, family parties, friend festivities, and lots of travel to reminisce about. In the summer of 2022, we finally decided to move back to Illinois and be closer to family Shortly after moving, we welcomed the sweetest puppy named Opal into our family. In the fall of 2022, Matt proposed during a fall photoshoot that was planned to revolve around our new puppy but, Matt had other ideas and to no ones surprise Kayla said YES.

And after a long engagement, we have decided it is time to tie the knot.

We are now looking forward to spending a lifetime together and making it official on September 20, 2024, with all of you. We cannot wait to dance the night away and make more unforgettable memories as Mr and Mrs Larsen!
