It was the night of Valentine’s Day in 2020 when Spencer sent Kayla a cheeky one liner on Hinge, the dating app, for being on the app that specific day, and Kayla is a sucker for sarcasm. Over the next couple of weeks through texting and phone calls there was a lot of falling happening fast and quick. A first date at bocce ball which quickly transitioned to the local dive bar led to believe this was the first night of the rest of our lives. There were too many similarities to believe this wasn’t meant to be. Spencer was beyond ecstatic to find that Kayla came as a package of 3 including one Lincoln and a Bingo. Kayla, Spencer, & Lincoln spent time growing together and adventuring, and everywhere they traveled just felt like home. Then us three created a home together. Kayla soon added about 100 plants and a stray Pollee. After some time, Spencer added a Walter and Kayla added 4 chickens. Spencer asked Kayla to marry him in October of 2021, and because of future life plans 2024 was always set to be the year of the wedding. Spencer and Kayla welcomed one baby Aria just in time to be (hopefully) tossing petals down the aisle, and she truly completes our family so well. Our story has been a loving, exciting, and wild adventure. Here we are, 2024, at last.
