Nick and I met on the Mississippi River on Labor Day weekend in 2022 with the help of our families and their river friends. This group of river rats spent the whole summer trying to set us up until we finally met and immediately hit it off. Although Nicholas had a few too many shots and barely remembered our conversations, he was excited to see me again and I couldn’t resist his charisma and bubbly personality. The rest is history, as we’ve been inseparable ever since.
