We know this is going to be shocking but our love story started on a dating app. Kayla saw Mason's profile and thought...he seems silly AND he's trying to find someone to go to the Koe Wetzel concert with?! Mason saw Kaylas profile and knew that she was his type because of her blond hair, bright blue eyes and that she seemed like a nice, respectable lady--his words exactly.Mason is from Farnam, NE but was living in Milford going to SCC-Milford for being a Diesel Technician and was going to go back out West after he graduated...obviously that didn't happen. Kayla is from Lincoln and was working two jobs full time and taking a semester off from her junior year of getting her Elementary Education degree due to the craziness of covid online teaching.Our first date was to Texas Roadhouse where Mason didn’t think he had another chance of seeing Kayla—he was under the impression that she didn’t like him. Obviously, that wasn’t the case. From then on they would bond over their love of country/rock music and enjoying an ice cold beer together, as well as, Kayla turning Mason into a coffee addict.Fun fact: We have been to over 40 concerts together!
