Like every good love story, we saw each other from across the room and it was love at first sight. Just kidding! We met online (thanks, Hinge).

After initially meeting in La Crosse we went our separate ways, Emily back to Minnesota and Kayla back to Florida. We spent many hours exchanging phone calls, texts, FaceTime sessions, visits back and forth and basically falling in love over the phone.

We took the leap and moved in together in January of 2022 and from there we started building our life together. Almost 2 years after meeting, Emily popped the question (to Kayla’s complete surprise) in La Crosse at the place we first met.

We are so excited to celebrate our love and coming together as a family with all of you in October!
