Noah and I met completely by chance — or maybe by perfect timing. What’s so crazy is that we went to the same university and somehow never crossed paths. The same campus, the same seasons of life… yet we never met. It just proves that timing is everything. We were meant to meet exactly when we did.We both joined the same dating website at the exact same time — after both of our parents had started to worry we might end up alone forever (lol). Little did they know, God had a plan already in motion.Our first date was May 17, 2024 — a date I will never forget. I texted my mom right after and told her I was obsessed. The very next day, I told my friends I had just met the man I was going to marry… even though we had only been on one date. Somehow, I just knew.From that day on, we were together every single day — except for one big obstacle. I was leaving for Las Vegas for the summer and would be gone for two months. We had no idea what would happen or what the future would hold, but we chose each other anyway. We talked every single day, growing closer and closer, even though we weren’t officially dating yet.Those two months flew by, and when Noah picked me up from the airport, it felt like something out of a movie. On July 27, 2024, he asked me to be his girlfriend — and that same day, he told me he loved me for the first time. It was one of the most special days of my life.Our love only continued to grow. My dad said the very first time he saw us together that he could tell how deeply in love we were just by the way we looked at each other. And he was right. I have never felt so safe, so seen, and so protected by anyone other than my parents.Soon we began house hunting and somehow found the most perfect home to start our forever. Not long after, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Bailey — My Valentine’s surprise to Noah. She completed our little family in the most precious way.Then came March 16, 2025. We started the day at church like any other Sunday… and by the end of the day, my whole life had changed. WE GOT ENGAGED!!!Noah knew I wanted it to be a complete surprise, and he made it more perfect than I ever could have imagined. I had absolutely no idea. After he asked me to marry him, he surprised me again with an engagement party surrounded by all of our friends and family. I cried the entire day — happy tears, overwhelmed tears, grateful tears.He has shown me a love like no other. A steady, patient, intentional love. The kind of love you pray for. The kind of love that feels like home.And I cannot wait to spend forever with him 🤍
