Kayla Williams and Rebecca Baumgart met at Atherton High School in 2011, which was their freshman year. They rode the bus together and used a shared interest in music to form a friendship. In June 2015, they graduated and officially began their relationship on July 27, 2015.

Rebecca went away to college at Eastern Kentucky University in September 2015 and they persevered through long distance for nearly two years, visiting each other on the weekends. In July of 2017, Kayla made the move to Richmond, Kentucky where they got their first apartment together.

Over the next couple of years, Kayla and Rebecca invited two cats (Lexa and Macy) and a dog (Mia) into their home, who quickly became their little family. On August 2, 2020, Rebecca proposed to Kayla with the help of a couple close friends. Kayla obviously said YES, which leads us to where we are now! They are so honored to be able to invite you to celebrate with them on their big day, Saturday, November 6, 2021!
