Luke and I first met at a mutual friend’s house. I rushed home after the Templeton Tractor Pull that day to make cheesecakes for the bbq (my Grandma Linda’s special recipe). Luke was late but he made it just in time for my cheesecake. I was handing out slices when we got to talking and he requested another slice, even though if you ask him he’ll say I was force feeding him. At the end of the night I was distracted looking on my phone for a video to show him when he decided to “Irish goodbye”. I was running after his truck as it was pulling away when I tumbled down some stairs. I was mortified and got up only to fall down once again. Luke loves to tell me that “I fell for him” . A day or two later, Luke asked me out on a date which I accepted, and showed up to in a leg brace. We had a great time and the rest is history.
