The Tasting Room is a recently renovated, great place to have a drink with people who know a ton about craft beers. Is it a bar? Nope. But we do love to tip a few and hang out with good guys and gals. And, since life is about adventure and trying new things, we change our taps on the regular.

Need a great place to play outside? Check out The Backyard at Mother's. Come kick it around our big trees, lots of greenery, honeysuckle, flowers, and--at times--live music. If you need something to play with while you're here, we've got you covered with temporary tats, stickers, pint glasses, shirts, bottle openers, and other fun Mother's schwag.

Look out for our Fudge and Coffee Shops at the Grand Entrance and by our registers. Walking in you will find yourself immersed in a natural looking environment complete with waterfalls, springs and as many live fish as you can count. Here in store we have 7 large fish tanks including a tank holding 2 of the largest Alligator Gar in the world. Our waterfall tank in store is home to all native fish including some large sturgeon! Along with our huge tanks is a particularly special exhibit to our store, the Alligator Pit. Until early this last year our Alligator Pit was home to Big Al the albino alligator. We at the store are happy to say Al has retired to a lovely exhibit in Florida where he has plenty of room to move around and enjoy being a gator. In his place are 6 young female alligators, which seem to be much more active than Big Al.

Fish Feeding Shows:

Come join us for our fish feeding shows at 10a.m. and 3p.m. in Uncle Bucks Auditorium on our ground floor to watch as our divers feed the fish and give a seminar on native Missouri fish!
