First photo together! While we both attended UA, we had to travel to Cusco, Peru to meet one another. Noah just finished his freshman year and I had just completed my junior year. When I first met Noah, I thought he was way too young for me to talk to him. I thought he was cute and tall but there was no way I would date a freshman.

Hiking up Machu Picchu gives you a lot of time to get to know someone! The entire two day journey Noah and I were inseparable and our friends knew something was up. Noah asked me to go on a date with him in Tuscaloosa once we returned in August the night before he left.

I spent all summer in NYC but didn't want to wait three months for our first date so I flew down to TN for a weekend. Noah asked me to be his girlfriend the night of our first date. I was so grateful to have this quick clarity and know that Noah was fully committed to our relationship from the very beginning.

Second date back in Tuscaloosa! Late 21st birthday for me.

Labor day weekend! Many fun family days spent at lake Guntersville.

Noahs Sophomore year and my senior year. Many Alabama football games.

Second international medical trip together to Ghana, Africa. I led this trip and was so grateful to be able to rely on Noah to lead the large group and have someone to decompress to after stressful situations. We are so excited for a life of service together.

1 year anniversary! Dinner date in Knoxville. By this point we knew we wanted to get married and were so hopeful for the future.

MBA Semiformal! Lots of date parties together for both Alpha Chi, Theta Xi, and MBA. I got several messages after this photo thinking they were engagement photos. Not quite yet!

We love the rodeo and hope to continue this tradition for many years to come!

13 mile hike up Mount Leconte. We spent much of the hike talking about how excited we were that this would be our last summer we had to spend apart. I was working in Birmingham and Noah was working in Knoxville. Both saving money so we could get married the next summer.

In the afternoon we were surprised with a beautiful party at Noah's house. Family and friends traveled to celebrate us.

After the proposal, Noah and I spent the day together doing some of my favorite things. We got coffee and breakfast in downtown Knoxville then we walked around the farmers market where we bought a few items to remember this special day.

On July 5th, Noah asked me to marry him. We were on a hike in front of a gorgeous waterfall and it could not have been more perfect.
