Will there be transportation to the ceremony?

Transportation will be provided for all guests to and from the ceremony at the Basilica of Saint Mary. Shuttles will depart from the Marquette Hotel starting at 2:00 p.m. and the final shuttle will depart at 2:40 p.m. Following the ceremony, the shuttles will bring guests to Windows for cocktails, dinner and dancing.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We would prefer that men wear a suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or mid to knee-length cocktail dress.

Are children invited to the wedding?

You are welcome to bring your children to our ceremony at the Basilica of Saint Mary, Unfortunately, due to capacity limits at our reception venue, the only children at our wedding reception are those in the wedding party and immediate family. For out of town guests, please let us know if you need help finding childcare at the hotel.

Is there parking at the Marquette Hotel?

The Marquette Hotel offers 24-hour in-and-out self-parking for $38 plus tax per night, or valet parking for $55 plus tax per night. The hotel utilizes the IDS Center Lot 167, which is a covered parking ramp located underneath the hotel. The parking ramp entrance is located at 716 S Marquette Ave, situated on S Marquette Ave between S Seventh St and S Eighth St.

Is there parking at the Basilica of Saint Mary

There is some street parking around the Basilica. You'll see signs that say "Basilica Parking Only." There are also two Basilica parking lots behind the church and the parking under the freeway is free on Saturday. Handicap parking is on the N 17th Street side of the church and in the Cowley Center lot behind the church.

When is the Twin Cities Marathon?

We are so glad you asked! The marathon and 10 mile race are taking place on Oct. 6. If you are staying downtown after our wedding, it may take you extra time to leave with road closures for the race. Make sure you give yourself additional time. Refer to the race route for more details:
