Kaylee and William first met as lab partners in physics during their second semester at Texas Tech University! William says he sat next to Kaylee on the first day of class because she looked "cute AND smart." They hit it off immediately, and started officially dating by the end of February.

Kaylee begins her first year of medical school in Houston, while William starts his first post-grad position as a project engineer in Fort Worth. This begins their year of long distance.
