The night Kaylee and Stuart hit it off! We were both guests at Jenna and Michael's wedding. (Stuart's brother and sister in law) Prior to this, Kaylee and Jenna had been friends from cross country in high school and working together in college. Jenna had a plan all along and this is the night that set it all in motion after meeting in December of 2020!

This was one of Kaylee's first time meeting Stuart's family, at his brother Brendan and his wife Rachel's couples shower. At this time, Stuart was having to travel to Parsons if he wanted to spend time with Kaylee, because she recently had foot surgery and could not drive. How often he came down showed her how much he cared. :)

Stuart decided he wanted to run a marathon in the KC Marathon race. He trained so hard and did so well! That's running 26.2 miles!!!!!

We have a house! Still long distance until May though. While Stuart is living in Overland Park working as an accounting manager, Kaylee is in Pittsburg working as a computer teacher at Pittsburg Community Middle School!

Stuart quickly fell in love with Kaylee's dogs Nalah and Yara.

Stuart once again put his mind to doing a tough training to compete in a triathlon! The next weekend, Kaylee moves to Overland Park after accepting a computer teaching position at Harmony Middle School!

Stuart decides after his Triathlon he wants to bike across the entire state of Missouri. Kaylee grabs the dogs and follows him in her car, providing support and food/drink when needed! We camped one night and the dogs were not fans of the raccoons getting in the trash near us at 3am.

After traveling across Missouri, we continue on to Tennessee to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains! The plan was to take the dogs on hikes, but the rain disagreed!

The amazing Eras Tour! Stuart got Kaylee Taylor Swift tickets for Christmas. It meant a lot to her that he went to the concert, with tons of screaming females, to make her happy. :)

Stuart's original plan was to propose to Kaylee the night before, but there was a thunderstorm that knocked our power out for 25 hours. Kaylee was looking a bit rough on Friday night, was starving, and demanded she got Wendy's as soon as possible, foiling Stuart's well-planned endeavor for the evening.

With the help of Kaylee's sister Sydney, Stuart's sister Kelsey, and Sister in law Jenna, Stuart took Kaylee to eat at their favorite restaurant down the road, Torreon. This was after a fun day of enjoying the slides at the local public pool because we still had no power.

While we were at dinner, Sydney and Jenna decorated our house to make the most beautiful set up. This was the most special surprise ever and many tears were shed. Even if Kaylee was being stubborn and took forever to get into the house after dinner. (Stuart waiting in the house with a ring in his hand saying "Kaylee! Come in the house!!!")

Stuart's hard work and motivation convinced Kaylee to run a half marathon with him! He brings out the best in her! But he did not run next to her like she was hoping.... :)

We got to take our engagement photos with the most amazing photographer, Hope Szklarski from Hope's Perspective Photography in Joplin, MO. We are so excited to do life together and can't wait to celebrate with you on our big day!
