I'll save most of the juicy details for later, Doug and I have shared so many amazing memories with eachother that if I told them all you'd be reading a novel.

We met eachother in high school, so basicly high school sweethearts. 💙
We went on our first date some time in early November 2011 to a high school football game. We began dating November 27th 2011.

We have spent many years together. We have shared many adventures and have spent enough highs and lows to know that we can stick together forever. We support and push each other to do our bests.

After almost 6 years into our relationship Doug surprised me with asking me to marry him.

We had everything set up and were enjoying the tailgating festivities before the game. We had music playing, and apparently instead of keeping me company, our friends were keeping me distracted.. They were waiting for the cue from Doug. He picked a song to propose to me with, (Happens like that by Granger Smith). Doug then came walking over to me and I could tell something was going on. He kept repeating how much he loves me. Since I had about a million thoughts running through my head, I could barely grasp the fact the he was now on one knee..

That's when it hit me, he is proposing! From the video I've watched about a thousand times I am pretty sure I whispered yes between the tears and many kisses.

As of November 18th, 2017, I am now a bride to be to the most wonderful guy I know. I am so lucky that I get to marry my best friend, and he gets to marry his.
