Can I take photos at the ceremony?

We would like to have an unplugged ceremony at the Church. Our photographer will capture plenty of beautiful photos that we will share! Feel free to take all the photos/videos you would like at the reception. Thank you!

Can I leave my car at Bash overnight?

Yes! It will just need picked up by 10 the following morning.

Is there a dress code?

Please wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies, please refrain from wearing white or ivory.

Will the reception be inside?

Yes, the reception will be inside. There will also be cocktail hour inside and on the patio. The patio does have ceiling fans.

Where do we park?

For the ceremony at St. John, there is a small parking lot. If the parking lot is full, parking is available at the Plaza Park Garage (on Capitol Avenue, just north of the Church) and the World Wonders Garage (just east of the Church, entered from Illinois Street or from Maryland Street). At Bash, there is a parking lot in front of the building and directly behind the building.

Registry

We are doing a cash honeymoon fund and are registered at Target.

Hotel

We have a wedding block reserved with Ironworks Hotel located at 2721 E 86th St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. You can reserve your room online at https://bookings.travelclick.com/102947?groupID=3624151#/accommodation/room or you can call the front desk at 463-221-2200. In order for you to receive a discounted rate, please make sure you reference “The Parrett-Ramsey Wedding Block” and make reservations by May 11. The hotel provides free transportation from Bash, the reception, to its hotel. It is only 6-8 minutes from Bash. To request a ride, please let the hotel know at check-in or stop by the front desk or call the hotel the morning/afternoon of. You will just want to inform the hotel of your preferred pickup time from Bash and a good number for them to contact you at once your Lyft is on the way. The reception will be ending around midnight.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your RSVP.

Are the ceremony and reception at separate places?

Yes. The ceremony is at St. John downtown. The reception following is at Bash in Carmel.

When do we need to RSVP by?

May 7, 2023.

What will be served for dinner?

Appetizer - strawberry ricotta crostini. Dinner - salad, chicken bryan, steak, asiago stuffed red potatoes, parmesan risotto, and asparagus. Dessert - the following cakes: white, lemon, and strawberry with fresh strawberries.

What should I do during communion at the Church?

If you practice a different faith or are a non-practicing Catholic, you are still welcome to processes to the front of the Church during communion. You can choose to receive a blessing by walking forward with your arms crossed on your chest so each hand rest on the opposite shoulder, or you can remain at your seat. Either way, this is a time for reflection, solitude, and recollection.

What drinks will be served at the bar?

We will be having a beer and wine bar with the following selections: Coors Light, Miller Lite, Pinot Noir, White Zinfandel, and Roscato Rosso Dulce. For those who prefer something different, there will be a cash bar available with Corona, Sun King IPA, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tito’s Vodka, Tanqueray Gin, Bacardi Silver Rum, Captain Morgan, Espolon Silver Tequila, Cointreau, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Whiskey, and Glenlivet 12-year Scotch.

Where should we sit at the reception?

Please see the seating chart at the reception.

What time should we arrive to the ceremony at St. John?

Please plan to arrive 20 minutes early to make sure you do not miss out on the ceremony at 4:00 p.m.
