From Kaylee's perspective:In 2018 I moved to the east side of Sioux Falls and decided to join a small group at Embrace Church. I went on their website and found a group for young adults led by a man named Chris Wermerson. I started going to Chris's bible study and we quickly became friends. We really enjoyed spending time together but were both very busy (Chris has opened his practice less than 2 years prior and I just started grad school) so decided to stay friends only.Fast forward to the fall of 2023, Chris and I reconnected at yet another bible study for adults in their 30s and 40s. We started going out more seriously around the time of the Summit League in 2024 and officially started dating in June. I fell in love with Chris very quickly; it was natural and easy. He makes life so fun - we golf and go on trips and I've done so many new things because of him, but life is fun because of who he is. He is full of energy and makes even the small things big because of the way he sees life.On February 14, Chris proposed at the most special place, our lake house. It was the easiest yes I've ever said!We can't wait to share the start of our marriage with our friends and family on September 12.

The biggest event happening that weekend is at the nearby Minnehaha Country Club.&nbsp;They are hosting the yearly Sanford International - a premier tournament on the PGA Tour.
