Kaylee's (honorary) Little Sister & Maid of Honor. Kaylee and Madi met when they were 21 and 13 years old competing for a Miss America Local Pageant Title. These two were crowned "Miss & Teen" duos 2 years in a row and have been inseparable ever since. Blood wouldn't make their bond any closer.

Older brother and best man. Jonathan’s older brother and the original Segers role model. The Segers boys acknowledge their brotherhood is truly special. Brian’s been setting the bar (and occasionally the rules) since day one—and somehow, Jonathan and Jake still look up to him.

Kaylee & KJ met playing on the New Bern High School Tennis Team & carried their friendship from High School, to college at ECU, all the way into adulthood. Kaylee is honored to be KJ's beautiful daughter, Alli's honorary Aunt Kaylee. YEAH!!!

Younger brother and best man. Jonathan spent much of his life striving to set an example for Jake as an older brother and leader. Now, he often finds inspiration in Jake’s strength and character. The Segers brothers are truly grateful for the bond in brotherhood they share.

Kaylee & Sarah met competing for Miss North Carolina in 2017. These two discovered they are the same type of outspoken "weirdo" and have enjoyed being adventure buddies, as well as "sit around and do nothing" buddies ever since.

Jonathan's Dad & Groomsman. Steve's role in Jonathan's life goes much further beyond a father and provider. Steve and Paula raised Jonathan in a home where Christ was always first. Steve is Jonathan's first call for advise on all matters.

Kaylee & Caroline ALSO met competing at Miss NC in 2017. These two quickly bonded over Majoring in Accounting at ECU. Today, they remain bonded over their love of O&J Nail Polish, the feeling of freedom no longer working in Public Accounting, and the excitement over forever going through the same life events together.

Jonathan and Christian grew up close as first cousins. From the woods in the neighborhood they grew up in together to the campground the family stayed at for Thanksgiving, the two have always shared a friendship rooted deeply.

Kaylee & Grace Ann also met competing at Miss North Carolina 2017. These two spent years co-hosting Small Group together & encouraging one another to shop, even when they shouldn't be! These two are the easiest to convince to have a night in vs. a night on the town.

Cousin, childhood friend, fellow dirt bike enthusiast. Ethan and Jonathan burned more gasoline through a dirt bike carburetor in a few summers than most do in a lifetime.

Kaylee & Abby met competing for Miss North Carolina in 2017. Their friendship has always been easy- & Kaylee thinks this is because of Abby's "down for anything" attitude! These two have enjoyed everything from trips to Tampa to Buying the same Townhome in the same year!

Matt and Jonathan grew up together as best friends and next door neighbors. Jonathan looks to Matt as one of his most loyal friends who has been through every stage of life together.

Kaylee & Terra met in 2010 during NBHS's Apparel & Development Class. These two loved goofing off during class and making light of anything humanly possible. These two friends have stayed close over the years by being Travel Buddies & Prayer Warriors for each other!

Jonathan found a true friend in Sahib since they first met and appreciates the rarity of how Sahib treats people. Jonathan leans on Sahib as a mentor, best friend, and role model.

Kaylee & Allison were "forced" to be friends at the early age of 4, as their moms were also best friends! These two have seen each other during every stage of life, & have been there during every high & every low. These two continue to text each other about the latest deal they've found while shopping- always excited to see how much money they can save!

Josh has always been a best friend to Jonathan since the early preschool years. Jonathan appreciates the communication and friendship received during his years of living in California. Josh knows Jonathan and Kaylee best as a couple, and has always been family.

Kaylee & Ang met while working at RSM in Raleigh. They quickly became friends when they realized they both had an obsession with anything office-supply related. These two are constantly encouraging each other & supporting one another as they deal with daily anxiety. Ang & Kaylee now co-lead Small Group together & love bonding over their love for the Lord!

Jonathan and David have known each other since early childhood and have been best friends since. Jonathan appreciates David's accountability and loyal friendship.

Kaylee & Isabel were introduced to each other by a mutual friend/coworker when Kaylee first moved to Raleigh & started at RSM. Their mutual friend just knew they would hit it off, and they were right! Kaylee & Isabel, aka Mav & Goose love anything to do with shopping & travel. Kaylee would not have made it through the stay at home orders during COVID in 2020 without Isabel working alongside her at home every day!

Jonathan and David "Highsmith" met in 5th grade, and became best friends immediately. David always has Jonathan's back.

Kaylee & Mary Grace met through Jonathan's good friend, Zack. Double dates quickly turned into Kaylee & Mary Grace chatting all the time & planning their next girls outing. These two value each other's dedication to a relationship with the Lord & are so grateful to have a friend to share their Christ-centered lives with. Kaylee is honored to be Mary Grace's son, "ZJ"'s honorary Aunt Kaylee.

Jonathan and Zack met in a small group while at East Carolina University. Zack quickly become one of Jonathan's best friends and mentors.

Kaylee & Kyle became friends in 2010 in their Theater Class at New Bern High School. The 2 have always been described as a brother/sister duo & most people have never heard them utter a nice word to each other. While it's true that these two love to rag on each other, they are proud to be an important person in each other's lives.

Jonathan and Tanner met in preschool and have been best friends their whole lives. Jonathan appreciates Tanner's genuine love for their friends and group of guys that grew up together.
