In 2013 as a Waubonsie Valley Warrior, Kaylee reluctantly attended a Neuqua Valley High School football game. There, she was the groupie of some girl friends who met a group of guy friends in the stands. These guy friends and these girl friends grew up to be best friends all throughout high school.

Senior year of high school, Ryan and Kaylee became “best best friends” - wanting to hang out away from the friend group but ensuring everyone they were still “just friends”. After multiple pursuits from Ryan, Kaylee finally agreed to be Ryan’s official girlfriend on October 24, 2015.

Fast forward through a long distance college relationship while Kaylee was in Tennessee and Ryan was in Champaign, Kaylee transferring to U of I, living through a Pandemic apart, and now experiencing Chicago together, Ryan and Kaylee are grateful for the memories they’ve made, the places they’ve been, and the people they’ve done life with for the past 8 years. June 1, 2024 is a testament to the steadfast support from their people and God’s faithfulness through it all.
