Cameron and Kaylee met the old fashioned way: by swiping right on Tinder in 2019. The next couple of weeks were filled with late nights of not wanting the conversations to come to an end. With Kaylee getting ready to move into college and Cameron's busy 3rd shift work schedule, it was a challenge to find time to go on a date. One day Cameron offered to go with Kaylee while she shopped for dorm room decorations and supplies, and that is when their story began.

They met each other at IKEA and ended the shopping trip with Chic-Fil-A. The entire time they were both quiet, as they were both tremendously nervous. This was the first time Kaylee ever experienced what people described as butterflies, and she was worried since they did not talk much during the date. Later that same day, Cameron apologized for being quiet and shy. He revealed to Kaylee that he was so nervous because she was more beautiful in person than he imagined from the pictures he saw on social media.

In the following months, they spent every weekend together. He would go stay the night with her in the dorms, and their weekends were filled with endless laughs and irreplaceable memories. In October of 2019, Cameron asked Kaylee to be "his sunshine," and since then their love has just grown stronger.

In the years that they have been together, they have both pushed each other to grow stronger - mentally, physically, and spiritually. God brought them together for a purpose and they both knew that they were soulmates from the start.

Cameron asked Kaylee to be his forever sunshine when they were in Nashville for Kaylee's birthday on October 15, 2022. They are so excited to get married on their original anniversary date, October 5th, and cannot wait to celebrate their love with all their friends and family.
