Our wedding will be a formal event. We ask that you please wear black or navy blue. Additionally, we ask that you refrain from wearing jeans and open toed shoes.

Although we would love to invite all of your children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. If your children are invited, we will have listed their names on the invitations. We hope that you understand this decision and are still able to be with us on our special day!

Please check your invite to see if you have a +1. When you RSVP through our website, you will be able to RSVP for the amount of seats we have reserved under your name.

We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer to capture the moment for us and wish for everyone to live in the moment. We promise that you will receive pictures after we get them back from the photographer. We ask that you do not take any photos until the bride, groom and bridal party exit the ceremony. We encourage you to take as many photos as you wish at the reception. We would love to see your experience as a guest!

We ask that you refrain from posting anything about the wedding on social media until the bride or groom have done so. But when you do post, please use our hashtag so we can see it when you post! #oneMoreBarbour

By December, Connecticut weather is still very different everyday. We recommend that you bring things to layer with and make sure to check the forecast closer to our date. We can recommend to bring thick socks, jackets, hats, and boots depending on how long your stay is.
