Our Wedding

Ben and Kayleigh met in October of 2019, by complete coincidence and happenstance. After an Alabama game day, Kayleigh and a friend headed back to her apartment to change shoes before going out for the night (because Kayleigh had fallen down the stairs in the stadium while wearing her roommate's oversized shoes!). The friend realized he knew someone else who lived in the same building, someone he had studied abroad with in Spain that summer. That just so happened to be Ben. The friend asked if Kayleigh was okay with asking Ben to join in the celebrations that night and she said sure. So they knocked on Ben's door, 5 minutes before he was going to leave to meet some other friends. Ben ended up agreeing to join! That night, Ben and Kayleigh talked nonstop before exchanging numbers and parting ways. They continued to talk nonstop after that too. A month of so later, Kayleigh asked Ben if he'd like to be her date to her ADPi sorority formal. He agreed and they danced the night away together, before Ben asked if Kayleigh would officially be his girlfriend on November 16, 2019. Ben and Kayleigh dated long distance for a year and half, between Tuscaloosa/Colorado and Nashville, even persevering through the pandemic too! Kayleigh moved to Nashville in August 2021, ending the distance. The two dated for another 2 years, spending time doing their favorite things together, like going to sporting events, watching movies, exploring Nashville and other new cities, traveling around the US and Europe, and eating lots of good food. Ben proposed on October 14, 2023 in Kayleigh's favorite area of her favorite city: Camden Town, London. He arranged the whole proposal himself, and took Kayleigh completely by surprise! The pair are so excited to be engaged and are looking forward to the next phase of their lives together.

IMPORTANT INFO:The annual Nashville marathon is happening on the day of the wedding, April 26, 2025. This means that hotel rooms and Airbnbs WILL book up quickly. Please book your hotel as soon as possible (ideally as soon as you get your save the date!). See below for hotel block information.

The venue of the wedding! You can receive the block rate if you want to stay starting the Thursday before the wedding (April 24) or stay the Sunday after the wedding (April 27). Must stay for a minimum of 2 nights.

*If there are no room at the Noelle or Courtyard available or you need help, please reach out to Kayleigh* If you want to explore other options outside of the blocks above, there are many hotels nearby the venue and in downtown!   There are also many Airbnb options in areas surrounding Nashville.

Airport and Rideshare Info: The best airport to fly into is the Nashville International Airport (BNA). There are many direct flights on many different airlines, and it is about 15 minutes from downtown. To get into the city if you are not renting a car, the best option is Uber or Lyft. The Rideshare Pick-Up area is located on the lowest level of the airport - take the escalator down to baggage claim, then take the escalator down again towards the parking garages. Follow the signs to your right until in the parking garage with signs "B1, B2, etc."

Travel

Broadway is a major thoroughfare in the downtown area in Nashville, just a few blocks from the Noelle Hotel. It is an entertainment district renowned for honky tonks and live country music. The street is also home to retail shops, restaurants, dessert spots, tourist attractions, and more. Make your way all the way to the end to the street to find a walking path along the river, or pop into Acme for a fantastic view of the entire strip, river, and Titans stadium. We recommend checking out any of the Honky Tonks for live music, but the iconic ones are Tootsie's, AJ's Good Time Bar, and The Stage (where you will also have the best bet at seeing a famous act). For food, we recommend Assembly Food Hall at Fifth + Broadway (see below), or Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa.

Broadway

Fifth and Broadway is a great area to shop, eat, and drink, just off from the honky tonks and bars of Broadway. Visit the Assembly Food Hall to check out local Nashville fare, including the famous hot chicken. Kayleigh's favorites are Chilangos Tacos and Whisk Crepes Cafe. Ben's favorites are Pharmacy Burger and Desano Pizzeria. There are also some great restaurants (aside from the Food Hall) to visit. Ben and Kayleigh's favorites are Blanco Cocina + Cantina and Sixty Vines.

Fifth + Broadway

For all our country music lovers, check out the Country Music Hall of Fame! It has been called the “Smithsonian of country music,” celebrated for its broad cultural impact, educational mission, and unrivaled collection of historically important artifacts related to country music.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Ben and Kayleigh's neighborhood! 12 South offers restaurants, stylish boutiques, and other local shopping. It's home to the iconic “I Believe in Nashville” mural, a popular photo op for visitors. 12 South is a great spot to walk around during the day to pop into some shops, grab a light bite or coffee, and enjoy the sunshine. We recommend Frothy Monkey for coffee, Edley's for BBQ, BarTaco for small bites, and MafiaOzos for Italian.

12 South Nashville

The Gulch is an upscale neighborhood known for its chic hotels, boutiques, and restaurants. In a striking art deco building, The Frist Art Museum hosts diverse, adventurous exhibitions, as well as film screenings and lectures. This is also where you can find the iconic Wings mural! We recommend Burger Republic for casual eats, The Pub for English pub vibes, Biscuit Love for Southern biscuits, and the LA Jackson rooftop bar for drinks and good views! There is also the newly opened Puttshack, an upscale, techy mini golf bar.

The Gulch | Nashville

With chic restaurants in restored Victorian buildings, and cafes along the brick sidewalks, Germantown is a charming neighborhood. There are many great shops as well. We recommend checking out Little Hats Italian Market, Taco Mamacita, Ok-u for sushi, 5th and Taylor for apps, and Mother's Ruin for drinks. Check out Nashville Farmers' Market, which has eclectic global eateries. Nearby, the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park features skyline views and monuments to Tennessee history.

Germantown | Nashville

Franklin is a city just south of Nashville (about a 25 minute drive). It was a key site of the American Civil War, with multiple Civil War-era museums, historic houses, and battle sites. The Downtown Main Street of Franklin is the epitome of a cute, old school Southern town, with lots of boutiques and shops.
