Kayleigh and Jake’s journey began in February of 2022, when Jake asked Kayleigh out for a coffee date at Kudu Coffee in charming Charleston, South Carolina. Here’s the twist—Kayleigh doesn’t even like coffee! But she couldn’t pass up the chance to get to know Jake, so she said yes and ordered the only tea on the menu, taking a leap of faith in more ways than one.From that very first date, something just clicked. Since then, they've been inseparable—wherever one goes, the other is never far behind. They’ve grown to be not just partners, but the very best of friends—encouraging, uplifting, and loving each other every step of the way.On March 3rd, 2025, Jake proposed to Kayleigh at the top of Mount Cammerer in the Fire Lookout Tower after a breathtaking (and leg-burning!) 12-mile hike. Kayleigh was blissfully unaware—her main excitement at the summit was digging into her sandwich! Needless to say, the surprise proposal made the moment unforgettable.Kayleigh and Jake are so excited to celebrate their love story with all of you and cannot wait to share this special day surrounded by the people who mean the most to them!
