Kayleigh and Jackson first met in college through a mutual friend on a night out. Jackson quickly lived up to his reputation as a "handyman" when he repaired a piece of Kayleigh's jewelry right on the spot. From that moment, their story began. What started as chance quickly grew into something undeniable. They spent the very next week together, staying up late, sharing stories about their childhoods, and dreaming about the futures they hoped for.

Just after Valentine's Day in 2020, they officially began dating on February 25th. A few weeks later, the world shifted as COVID hit, but instead of slowing them down, it gave them the gift of time. With no in-person classes, they dove headfirst into the honeymoon stage, enjoying late nights with friends, little "staycations," and all the freedom of college life together.

That fall, Jackson and Kayleigh shared their first "I love you," and by the following January, they were on their very first ski trip. Kayleigh, who hadn't skied since middle school, dusted off her skills and discovered a new shared passion. Since then, the two have traveled on six ski trips (Kayleigh can now conquer double black diamonds!) and ventured across the country and beyond. One of their favorite adventures; A cross-country road trip out of the country to Canada that ended with Jackson's proposal, making it the journey of a lifetime.

In 2021, they welcomed their sweet pup, Stella, who has been the brightest addition to their little family.

By fall of 2024, another dream began taking shape when they purchased and started restoring a home on land near the Kansas River. After a year of tear-outs and repairs, the house is finally ready for siding, dirt work, and exploring solar options. Their hope is to have it halfway livable by spring 2026 and fully move in by the fall; just in time for the wedding! Building this home together has been another adventure, filled with challenges, laughter, and the shared vision of creating a life built with their own hands.

Through every high and low, career changes, milestones, moves, celebrations, and losses; Kayleigh and Jackson have grown stronger, always learning and challenging each other. Jackson brings the realism and steady perspective; Kayleigh brings optimism and lighthearted curiosity. Together, they balance, ground, and inspire one another.

Now, after five years of love, adventure, and growth, they can't wait to begin their next and greatest chapter - FOREVER.
