Our Wedding

It's really cheesy for us to write down an our story as it is not something we would normally do. However, it seems important that everyone knows how we met. So here we go! Anthony and I met in the summer of 2019. We were both working for a Tex-Mex restaurant called Calexico on the Upper East Side. I was working as a takeaway specialist and Anthony was my manager. My first words to Anthony were "So you're the one that came to replace my cousin" as my cousin, Chris, had gotten me the job there. This definitely made an unforgettable first impression. It was abnormal for me to just blatantly say that the way that I did to a manager. Luckily for me Anthony laughed it off. We didn't interact often, but he always used to invite the staff out. In November 2019, he invited me out to meet his brother at a bar downtown from where we worked. He said don't let me drink too much because my nephew is getting baptized tomorrow, needless to say I forgot to "remind" him. When we returned to work a few days later he said what an amazing time he had and that he would like to take me out. Fast forward to April 2020 when we were all, you know, stuck in the house, Anthony and I spent the quarantine together and moved to our first apartment in Country Club. I don't think we socially distanced too well because in February 2021 we received the greatest news any one could receive. We found out we were going to become parents to the, as Anthony puts it, cutest little monster ever made. I was nervous to tell him but he didn't seem too concerned as he said "I want to tell you why I am not worried but I want to do it when you least expect it". Little did I know Anthony planned to take me on a road trip in the summer, but he absolutely can not wait on anything which brings me to March 2021, Anthony had our "other" child Matty bring me a small black box, and even though Matty gave it to the wrong person, Anthony was right behind him on one knee asking me to be his wife. After making him sweat for a little, I said YES! Anthony said "this is why I wasn't worried and even though I had planned to time everything out, I wouldn't change it for a second". ﻿November 2021 rolls around and our beautiful, crazy, strong and smart daughter Emma graces us with her arrival. This may be the calmest, most content and happy I've ever seen Anthony. He was quiet, careful and had this look in his eyes that I knew he would always be there for us. That's our story leading up the our Wedding Day and we leave it to our amazing friends and family to help create the next chapters and celebrate our love and happiness!
