Our Wedding

An ordinary month that turned out to be anything but.Though they didn’t fall in love right away, not at first sight and not with grand gestures. Instead, it started with a match. Or in other words, a spark: laughter, good conversations, and the kind of charm that sneaks up on you. Kaylin quickly fell for Tyler’s humor and easygoing attitude, not for his fishing skills. Meanwhile, Tyler knew Kaylin was the one because… well, she tolerated his chaos with grace and eyerolls… and because she always laughed at his jokes. (his words, not hers).Their first date, on December 14 (pictured above) was anything but traditional. Tyler made the two-hour drive to Great Bend, where Kaylin was living at the time and somehow, within hours of meeting, found himself shaking hands with her parents. No pressure, right? But even then, it just felt easy. Maybe it was the conversation Tyler had about HVAC with her dad that night, or the fact that awkward moments weren’t so awkward at all if they had each other.The two-hour distance between them became a regular part of life: quick ‘there and back’ weekend trips, countless FaceTime calls during the week, belly laughs and a lot of “see you soons” that eventually turned into shared routines, camping trips, spontaneous vacations, and not enough time spent fishing.For five years, they have built a love that’s made up of all the things that matter to them: inside jokes, shared laughter and the ability to spend hours doing absolutely nothing together. Tyler has always made sure Kaylin’s water bottle is full and always roasts her the perfect mallow on the campfire and Kaylin has always had a way of making Tyler feel taken care of by making sure he has a full belly and by telling him to wear sunscreen when he goes to mow. They really are building a life they love, together.&nbsp;After years of memories, growth, and love (and a few too many fishing trips to count,) they’re saying “yes” to forever.&nbsp;We can’t wait to celebrate our love with all of you who’ve cheered us on — and who probably saw this coming before we did on May 2, 2026. We’ll see you soon!
