One early morning in May, fate had something special in store for Faizan and Kaylin. Fresh from her recent move to Atlanta, Kaylin was starting a new role at an investment firm. Little did she know, that the city's sprawling skyline would soon be the backdrop to a love story that was just beginning. The HR director introduced her around the office, and as they passed the break room, he stopped and said, "Let me introduce you to the best dressed man in the firm..." Neither could have anticipated all that was to come. As months rolled by, their paths crossed often. One Friday afternoon, Faizan said he was going to Starbucks and asked Kaylin if she would like anything. Kaylin shared her coffee order, and to her surprise, Faizan returned not just with her drink, but with a chocolate cookie meant for sharing - a small gesture that spoke volumes. One summer afternoon, at Ray's on the River, with the serene backdrop of the Chattahoochee, Faizan asked Kaylin for her phone number. He wasted no time in planning their first date. They enjoyed an Italian dinner at Pricci filled with deep conversations and the discovery of shared values that drew them closer. As summer gave way to fall, Faizan and Kaylin made the decision to enter a relationship. Throughout their courtship, Kaylin would write loving and encouraging notes to Faizan, each one a testament to the deepening bond they were nurturing. Their first trip together was to the beautiful city of Savannah, where the cobblestone streets, Spanish moss, and historic charm set the perfect scene for romance. That November, Faizan met Kaylin's family and in December, Kaylin traveled to Dallas to meet Faizan's family. The following summer, Savannah called them back. They embarked on a romantic horse and carriage ride through the historic squares. As they approached Columbia Square, the carriage pulled over, revealing a scene that took Kaylin's breath away. All the letters that Kaylin had written to Faizan were strung around the fountain. In the center, a chocolate cake that read "Will you Marry Me?" Faizan got down on one knee, recited a line from one of Kaylin's favorite books, and asked her to marry him. She said yes! As Kaylin and Faizan prepare for marriage, they look back on their journey with gratitude and excitement knowing that their love story is only just beginning.
