The story began when Bingxiao asked Kaylu out on a date after talking for a month or so during mid-pandemic. She agreed to it but decided very last minute that her garden was more important than their first date. She told him that same morning that she knows she sounds sketchy but she needs to reschedule. She couldn't miss out on that perfect sunny April Saturday to start seedling her tomatoes. It is important to know that they did go on their first date the next day but she was close to an hour late. Must say, his first impression of her was probably not the greatest. However, something sprouted in them as they shared a picnic and converse while walking through Mont-Royal. Fast forward 2 years later, he proposed at that same exact spot where they went on their first date. She said "yes" full heartily as they look forward towards their happily ever after together.
