Google Maps may have you take Los Huescos Rd and hike/walk into the venue. There is an easier way to get to the venue!
Take 8 East. Exit the freeway at Sunrise Highway (Exit 47). Make a Left onto Sunrise Highway. Continue on Sunrise Highway for approximately 12 Miles. There will be a sign for Horse Heaven Campground on the Right side of the road. The driveway for the Campground is across the street (on your left) from the sign.
What is the Parking like?
Parking at the campground is extremely limited. Carpooling is required. Cars must be parked on the pavement and not blocking the road in and out of the campground.
We will be providing a shuttle service to the venue for anyone staying at Laguna Lodge. We will update this site with those details as the event gets closer.
What is the Attire?
Casual attire is encouraged since we are holding our wedding at a campground. Please feel free to dress comfortably and casually if you like, as formal attire is not required. That being said, we will be looking back on these memories for the rest of our lives so please dress appropriately. We also highly encourage guests to wear flat comfortable shoes as the ground is somewhat uneven.
Evenings can be cool in Mt. Laguna, even in the summer. Please be sure to bring a sweater.
Can I bring my kid(s)?
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves freely while celebrating, we have chosen to make our special day ADULTS ONLY. We thank you for your understanding.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we're on a tight budget, so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!
What is the Weather like in Mt. Laguna?
In June, the weather in Mt. Laguna is typically in the mid-high 70s and can peak in the 80s during the day. Temperatures in the evening can dip into the low 50s.
Can we camp at the venue?
YES! Guests who wish to tent camp the evening of our wedding are welcome and encouraged to do so free of charge. By camping at the venue, you agree to not camp in the site being used for the Ceremony & Reception (Buttercup). You also agree to dispose of waste in trash dumpsters and bring home any gear you bring with you.
Please note that Trailers & RVs of any size are NOT permitted at Horse Heaven Campground. Guests who wish to camp in their RVs/Trailers/Motorhomes can camp at Laguna Campground (next to Horse Heaven) or Burnt Rancheria Campground (approximately 3 miles south of Horse Heaven). Please check out the Travel page for more information on RV/Trailer/Motorhome Camping.
