Like any great modern love story, Kaylyn and Peter's tale began on an online dating app around Thanksgiving of 2021. Peter took a risk with the ultimate icebreaker after spotting a photo of Kaylyn in front of the Chicago "Bean." He boldly asked, "Have you been to Chicago?" A romantic genius, right?

They started slow with some dates at pubs, bars, and the outdoors for some scenic hikes and dog meetups (where they took this first selfie). The steady ember continued to stoke as Kaylyn met Peter's lifelong friends at a Cidercade and witnessed Peter getting last place at his first Hudson Easter Egg Hunt. As their bond grew, they enjoyed working from home together, sharing cozy mornings and productive afternoons.

They hit up concerts and other events, both as a couple and with groups of friends, creating wonderful memories along the way, and before long, embarking on adventures both near and far. Their "Petelyn" Google Calendar is packed with plans, with their wedding on November 22nd 2025 as the highlight. They're looking forward to celebrating with everyone—get ready for a day filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and some memorable dance moves! ❤️
