"We met freshman year at Hastings College through the music department, although it took awhile to start dating. It took God softening my heart to see that what I had been praying for was right in front of me. We made our relationship official in February of our sophomore year. The next couple years would be full of adventures, memories, love, and growth. Spring of 2019, I knew a proposal was near. So when we went on a hike in Colorado one day in April, I had a feeling something might be coming. But he surprised me by proposing on the way down, after he pretended to fall and I was helping him back up! I am beyond excited that I get to spend the rest of my life with Alex and I hope to continue to seek God in every season of life with my best friend by my side."

We had some classes together Freshman year of college and just had small talk here and there. It wasn't until sophomore year that we started to grow closer to each other and I think we started growing feelings for each other too. I have always prayed to find a beautiful, loving, and kind-hearted woman to be in my life and Kaylyn is the epitome of just that! I remember hearing someone in the music hall play Chopin's Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1 and I came to find out it was Kaylyn playing this beautiful music.
