The best love stories often begin in the most unexpected ways — and ours was no different. It all started on an ordinary day in high school math class. Justin sat behind Kaylynn, and while Justin had a habit of falling asleep in class, they always found a way to chat in between his naps. Little did Kaylynn know, the boy behind her would one day become the man she would fall asleep next to for the rest of her life. What makes our story even more special is how incredibly lucky we feel about the way it all came together. Justin's family had traveled from state to state, never staying in one place for too long. Similarly, Kaylynn's family moved a lot within Florida. Lucky for us we both ended up in Dunedin — a small town where we would cross paths at Dunedin High School. It feels as though God guided both our families here, to this place where our story truly began. Life, as it tends to, pulled us in different directions over the years. There were times we grew apart, each of us taking separate paths and finding our own way. But somehow — whether by fate, stubborn hearts, or a little bit of both — we always found our way back to each other. Each reunion felt like coming home, a reminder that, no matter how much we changed, we were always meant to be a part of each other’s story. From those sleepy math classes to building a future together, it’s clear now: we were never just passing notes or passing time — we were passing through every chapter of life that led us back to each other. And every chapter has brought us here — to this day, when we say ‘I do,’ surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of this next beautiful chapter with all of you.
