If you would like to stay in the Amana colonies with us, the Guest House motel or Milwright hotel will be the hotels you want to book through. Ask for the wedding discount. Otherwise Iowa City and Cedar Rapids are both cities close by and have plenty of hotels each!

We will have a buffet style for dinner. The meat options will be Roast Beef and oven baked Ham. Side options are mac n cheese, broccoli supreme salad and mashed potatoes and gravy. Rolls and butter included.

Our wedding venue does not have heat or air conditioning. While we are hoping for a beautiful October day, we live in Iowa. Please make sure to wear clothes that fit the weather that day. We will have heat lamps or fans pending what’s needed.

Our venue allows us to bring our own alcohol to the venue. We will have an open selection of seltzers, wine and beer(can and kegs). If there is something specific you are wanting, you may bring it. As long as there is no selling/purchasing of alcohol on premises, we are good!

The bathrooms are right across the venue at the brick building. They are public restrooms! We will have signs at the venue to help also :)
