Well... where do we start?! Keegan & I go way back to our middle school days. Between middle school and high school, we could not stand each other for the life of us! We had mutual friends, but never became close until the end of high school around junior year. Throughout high school, Katie had a couple of boyfriends that were not the best fit for her, and little did she know, Keegan had the biggest crush on her for the longest time! He started making small moves because he did not want to ruin the friendship we created over the years. By the middle of our senior year of high school in 2018, we confessed our feelings for each other and started to become more than friends. The night we graduated high school, Keegan and Katie had their first date at a hookah lounge! This is where things all began, and Keegan stole Katie's heart. On the way home from their first date, Keegan was worried that Katie's mom, Nancy, would see him lean in for their first smooch if he pulled into their driveway. Instead, he pulled over around the corner behind her house! We will spare all of you the details, but it was not the most magical first kiss, as Keegan claims Katie's breath resembled the taste of Taki's! This is where our journey of life together began, and it has been history ever since. Both of us went to NIU together where we each pursued our own passions in life. For Katie, she was focused on Social Work, and Keegan, a strong love for Special Education. We both graduated on May 14th, 2022 with our Bachelor's degrees! The day after graduation, Keegan asked for Katie's hand in marriage, and it was a complete surprise! It was one of the biggest moments in both of our lives, and that brings us to today. We are elated to share this beautiful moment with all of you as we join our families together and celebrate our love! We cannot wait to see all of you there!
