It all started in middle school, like every well-known love story. Keegan and Maddi met during track and field season, where his mom was the head track coach. Every day at practice and during meets, Keegan would constantly follow Maddi around and try to talk to her. However, Maddi wanted nothing to do with this - track was serious business to her, and she didn't need someone following her around and cheering her on at every event. Little did she know, Keegan would later become her best cheerleader in life and she wouldn't have it any other way.

As high school went on, Maddi and Keegan were both heavily involved in FFA. Even before they were dating, Keegan would shout at the top of his lungs at Maddi every morning "I love you Maddi Baker" from his truck. It didn't matter how good or bad her morning was because that always made it a little bit brighter.

During the summer before their senior year of high school, Keegan and Maddi became closer friends. When he would get off work at Arrowhead, he'd bring her dinner at the pool she lifeguarded at. He'd listen to her talk about everything under the sun, from how great her rainy day at work was to how she didn't know what she was going to do with her life after high school yet. She'd always ask how he got so dirty working for a building material delivery company.

Then on the evening of July 27, 2019 Keegan asked Maddi to be his girlfriend with a beautiful necklace... behind the middle school where they first met. Since that day, their life has been full of fun, laughter, and love. He proposed on July 1, 2023 while they were changing game cameras and putting out corn for deer.

Maddi and Keegan are looking forward to a life full of fun road trips to Pennsylvania every fall, a herd full of cows in the front yard, and many dogs to cuddle them on nights when a blanket just won't do it. They would like to thank their family and friends for helping them come so far in life, and supporting the love they have for each other. They look forward to sharing their big day with everyone on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024!
