December of 2022, Jacob and I were both out with friends and met at the infamous, Crow Bar. The first night we met he actually asked me, "Do you want to get married tomorrow?" LOL. We texted for about a month before actually hanging out. Once we finally did, we were inseparable and clearly obsessed with each other!

After dating for about 4 months, we moved in together & Jacob took a new job in Sioux Falls so we could be home together every night.

May 2024, we took our first "official" trip together for a little vacation in Arizona. EARLY (too early for Keela) Saturday morning Jacob planned a hike for us. After a few too many drinks with friends Friday night, I really didn't feel like getting up and hiking in 80-degree heat & the scorching sun, but I knew Jacob was looking forward to it, so I went. During the hike all I was thinking was "WHY DO PEOPLE ENJOY THIS... I hope he doesn't want to go too far." Little did I know, Jacob set up a whole PROPOSAL along with a professional photographer. He asked me to marry him, and I couldn't have been more surprised!! It was truly the best day of our lives (so far). We both blacked out and we couldn't even remember if I said yes. Afterwards we called all of our friends and family and went to get breakfast to celebrate. We felt terrible as the waitress thought we didn't like our food, when in reality we were just too excited and happy to eat. We spent the rest of the trip celebrating together and eagerly made it back to start planning for our special day!

We are truly best friends + soulmates & we cannot wait to spend together FOREVER starting 08/23/25!
