We will have some welcome drinks and snacks available.

In Telugu, this is called the pellikuthuru and pellikoduku ceremony (meaning bride and groom). During this ritual, a paste of turmeric and sandalwood will be applied to us by a few guests and then washed off. This tradition is believed to give our skin a radiant glow, preparing us for the wedding the following day.

The washing off of the turmeric paste can sometimes get a little wild and may even turn into a full-blown water fight! This is something we fully encourage—and we'll even provide the ammo for it! During this time, there will also be stalls where you can pick out Indian accessories, get henna done, or simply grab a drink and a snack.

We will place information cards on each seat to help our guests follow along with the different parts of the ceremony.

We would love to take a photo with all of our guests, and we invite you to offer your 'blessings' by showering us with rice and confetti. Our wonderful bridesmaids and groomsmen will assign each guest a group number, which the photographer will call out when it's your turn for a photo with us.

Pronounced 'kay-lee,' this is a traditional Scottish dance that we would love for all our guests to join in! Don’t worry if you’ve never done one before—our caller will guide you through all the steps.

We will also be providing a light bite in the evening.
