We were both just about ready to give up on dating when Keighan came across Charles on Hinge. With a leap of faith (and a bold first move), Keighan reached out—and just like that, the conversation began. From the start, we kept things simple: no pressure, no expectations—just a nice dinner and some good conversation. But three hours into that first date, it was clear something deeper was unfolding. The Lord’s presence was undeniable. In the months that followed, we opened our hearts to each other fully and honestly, praying for guidance every step of the way. As our love grew, so did our desire to seek Christ first—above all else and even above each other. That foundation of faith has shaped and strengthened our relationship in the most beautiful ways. Whether we’re watching How I Met Your Mother, spending time with friends, grabbing Waffle House, or watching sermons together on a quiet Sunday, there is so much laughter, peace, and love. We’re not just partners—we’re best friends. And every moment together reminds us that God’s timing is perfect, and His plan for us is more than we could have ever imagined. Then, on the 4th of July—while on the beach with friends—Charles pulled off the biggest surprise of all. He got down on one knee and asked Keighan to be his wife… and the rest is history.
