Our Wedding

Our Story

The Beginning:In October of 2020, David and Keira were invited on a trip to Boone, NC with some mutual friends. After spending a week in the mountains, they both decided that they did not want their time together to end after returning home. After many nights hanging out and eating Taco Bell on the Northend of CB, their friendship turned into a super fun relationship, full of fun and excitement. After wrapping up Keira's senior year of high school, she headed to NC State University where she earned a degree in Animal Science - graduated May 2025. During this time, Keira and David were in a semi-long distance relationship during the school year. Lots of weekends were spent driving between Wilmington and Raleigh. This had its challenges, but many fun memories were formed! During this time, David went from working at Hang Ten Grill and taking classes at Cape Fear Community College to working for his family's company: James and Son Heating and Cooling Inc and building lots of skills in the HVAC industry. Keira and David are now gearing up for a big move to Colorado! The current goal is to Honeymoon in Japan for 2-3 weeks after the holidays/January of this upcoming year and then move out west where they will be for the next several years. Keira is in the process of applying and hopefully attending a Medical Laboratory Scientist post-grad program in Denver, CO starting in June 2026. David will be continuing to peruse his career in the HVAC world. The plan is to snowboard, camp, hike, explore, meet new people, and grow closer together during this new adventure! This is a super exciting chapter of our lives and we can not wait to share this special time with everyone!!
