The Tennessean is a luxury hotel in the heart of Knoxville. This hotel is close to both the reception and ceremony! It has a great view of the Sunsphere! The Sunsphere was constructed for the 1982 World's Fair and during that time, it served as the symbol to the Fair.&nbsp;

The 4th level of the Sunsphere houses the Observation Deck. It offers a 360-degree view of the original 1982 World's Fair site (now World's Fair Park), downtown Knoxville, the Tennessee River, the University of Tennessee, and the Smoky Mountains.







There is no admission charge to visit the Observation Deck and access is limited to the double elevators facing the lake at the base of the Sunsphere and at the Convention Center level.

Plan your trip a little longer to enjoy the Great Smokey Mountains and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.&nbsp;Gatlinburg is nestled at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the&nbsp;most visited national park&nbsp;in America. There are three entrances to the Smokies from downtown Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg attracts more than 11 million visitors a year and can grow to a population of 40,000-plus on any given night.&nbsp;It is about an hour drive outside of Knoxville, but worth it!
