Kelley and Kris had mutual friends and had been around each other for quite some time. When Kelley moved home from college and they soon reconnected and Kris asked her on their first date, a Pirates baseball game. Kelley had been to three in a row right before he asked her to go and was reluctant to go. Luckily Kelley’s mom talked her into it and she ended up having the best first date EVER!!! They have been inseparable ever since. About a year into their relationship, Kris packed up and headed to Washington D.C to become a metropolitan police officer. Even though they spent almost 9 months living 5 hours apart, Kris made the drive home every single weekend during that 9 months to see Kelley. Kelley quickly moved down to be with Kris in Fairfax. Kelley is working her dream job at a chocolate shop where she works with individuals who have various disabilities. A year later they decided to move one town over to Reston, VA. They now reside there with their two dogs Toby and Honey and their hamster Mr. Cheese.
