General Hotel Notes
We toured the three properties; Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt House and Hyatt Place that are listed below. All three are newer or updated properties and the best part is they are all within a 3 minute walk of each other. Rooms and common areas were clean and refreshed. The staffs at all of the properties were very friendly and helpful. There are no shuttles from/to the airport however, a taxi will cost $35 - $40. Golf carts that run around Old Town (Scottsdale) are available to get you around the immediate vicinity – for tips. Would recommend renting a car if you are interested in local hiking or other points of interest outside of Scottsdale Old Town. For those who favor Marriott properties, there is a Marriott Suites also very close to the other hotels. However the per night charge is in excess of $200 so we did not secure a contracted rate. If using Marriott Rewards, the per-night charge is 35,000 points. You will not go wrong with any of the properties, glad you will be there.
