Introduced in 2015, Kellie and Nolan had their first date on April 18th. They spent two more years together at Norwich University before Nolan graduated and commissioned into the U.S. Marine Corps in May of 2017.

Surrounded by close friends, they performed a short ceremony in the blistering cold at 0200 on February 3rd 2018 in Burlington, Vermont.

They then went on to hold this secret from family members for about six months before Uncle Sam's healthcare system ratted them out!

Kellie and Nolan bounced back and forth between Pensacola, Florida and Corpus Christi, Texas before electing to move to Iwakuni, Japan.

In this time, they adopted their first dog Roofus and he has been dragged around the globe ever since!

Moving across the world only to be met with a global pandemic was not expected, but they made it work!

They managed to adopt their second dog; Kevin, within only a month after arriving. While there they had the experience of a lifetime traveling to every corner of Japan, and exploring various other countries in Southeast Asia and all while making lasting friendships.

Less than a year before moving again, the cat distribution system found its next victims. The little kitty Ezekiel brought their family number to 5 and they couldn't be happier!

Moving across the world with three pets is not easy, but where there is a will...there is a way.

Kellie and Nolan were sad to leave their "home" of Japan behind but were excited to see what the island of Sicily in Italy had to offer.

After some serious culture shock, they adjusted well to their new surroundings and are always looking for a new country to cross off their list!
