Kellie and Austin became friends during their sophomore year at Hastings High School. The student council would do a Matchmaker fundraiser every year, where you would fill out a form and it would match you to someone who had like answers. And if you could believe it, Kellie and Austin were each other’s #1 matches and began dating April 20th, 2015.

Throughout the years, Kellie and Austin have continued to enjoy their relationship by traveling, waterskiing, and visiting each other while doing long distance.

On October 20th, 2023, while on a bike ride around the lake, Austin proposed to Kellie. Currently, they live in Rochester where Kellie works as an RN and Austin works in tractor restoration.
