Our Wedding

Logan and I met in 2016 at a Missouri State Frat party. He was a freshman, I was a sophomore. Members of the fraternity, Alpha Gamma Sigma talked him into coming that night. I was just attending with some friends. I decided to talk to him and he decided to woo me with showing me photos of his truck. I guess it ultimately worked because he got my Snapchat and we talked everyday until he asked me to be his girlfriend. I never thought twice on my decision. He proposed on top of a hiking trail in Eureka Springs. I had the idea in my head it was just a friends weekend to drink, hike and relax. I had mentioned how I envisioned the proposal. Painted nails, hair and makeup done, dressed nice....none of these requests were met. Honestly, it had to be this way because if he had proposed any other way, I probably would have spoiled it. I was taking a photo with the girls, and as I turned around, he was on his knee. I honestly don't remember what he said, just that it was actually happening. My response was saying "no" multiple times, not because I was declining, but just in that much shock. Eventually I came to the word I was searching for; "yes". We've had so many adventures since dating 6 years ago. We've gone to Colorado, Tennessee, Alabama, adopted a dog (Colt), bought a house, sampled breweries and wineries and visited countless hiking trails. Of course Colt tags along. He tolerates my love of plants and animal obsessions, just as I do for his love of nascar and anything hunting/ fishing or busch light. I couldn't ask for a better partner to share life with. Let the countdown begin!

Kellie's big sister in Sigma Alpha. The only person I know that will ice herself while kneeling in the middle of a crowd. If you don’t know what that means, she would be happy to demonstrate. 

Miranda Hofstetter

Kellie's best friend from Kirkwood. They have been friends since pre-school. The best memory they share is when Liz attended Kellie's petting zoo birthday party hosted in her backyard! Fun fact: Kellie accidentally broke her nose while dancing at a birthday party. 

Liz Ducey

Kellie's older sister. They have always been told they look like twins. Honestly, the best masseuse in all of Missouri and wears heels higher than the arch. 

Allison Walter 

Kellie's younger sister. She is very caring and will lend a hand to anyone who needs it, but if she is not interested in the conversation, she’ll turn her hearing aids off and just smile along. 

Danielle Walter

Kellie's little in Sigma Alpha. Jess is always ready to have fun and is a really great line dancer! Check out her earrings at the wedding, she probably made them! 

Jessica Dunaway

Kellie's friend and fellow sorority sister. She has curlier hair than Kellie and is the most injury prone person at the wedding (especially with side by sides). 

Belle Roth

Kellie's friend and fellow Sorority/ gypsy sister. She is also slowly building a farm complete with dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, goats and horses. You will most likely see her shouting the lyrics to a Shania Twain song if she makes it past 9pm. 

Amanda Wilkins

Kellie's friend and fellow Sorority sister. She is always ready to party and has a spunky cat named Mojito! (Mo or Mocheeto work as well). Fun fact: she can tell you all you need to know about the Faxonius saxatiliso crawfish and how to avoid boogens in Oklahoma. 

Mady Neff

Logan's best friend from Milan. They have been friends since high school. The best memory they share is Drag racing pickups down the grease pits in Milan. You can get him to do anything if there’s a jager bomb included. 

Kyle Peterie 

Logan's friend and fellow fraternity brother. If anyone happens to get injured at the wedding, Aj is a medic. However, he will be off duty, so better find someone else.

Aj Bartlett 

Logan's friend and fellow fraternity brother. If he has that luscious mullet permed and by chance has a goodwrench jacket on, you will be trying to figure out if you are at a wedding or the 1996 daytona 500.

Garrett Johnston 

Logan's friend from Springfield. Fun fact: If you need to kill bugs, weeds or anything in their close vicinity, he's got the stuff. He also has the best tips on how to properly care for a mustache. 

Tanner Roberts

Logan's Brother.  If by chance we are wresting at the wedding, no matter how it looks, I am winning. It will just look like he's winning, but thats all in the plan.

Dalton Stover

Logan's Friend from Milan. One hardworking man if you're paying well enough. He will load up the camper, grab the dog and head out. He also has a Busch tattoo he will probably show off at the wedding.

Weston Thurlo

Logan's friend from Springfield. He is up for hunting anything, as long as its not during the Missouri Spring because his Colorado self might melt away.

Hadden Wilkins 

Logan's friend from Springfield and fellow fraternity brother. If you need to know anything about cornhole or taking flex selfies at the gym, this is the guy to talk to.

Venue Directions 

Wedding ceremony starts at 3:30pm. There is a cocktail hour to follow and then the reception. We plan to provide a shuttle service to the Old Kinderhook hotel that will run starting at 9pm to the end. It is $15 a person and they accept cash and Venmo. You can leave your car at the venue Saturday night, just pick it up by 12pm on Sunday.

Preferred hotel is the Old Kinderhook Resort. You can call or go to their website to book a room. If calling, ask for the walter/stover wedding and give them preferred dates.
